Keijo!!!!!!!!: The Game

"In the past, gamblers have been limited to horse, bike, boat, and car races. But now there's a new form of legalized gambling sweeping the nation. It's called Keijo!"

[Note 2: While we're here, I would also like to explicitly disavow the entire character of Mio Kusakai, and all other instances of non-consensual touching in the anime. I don't think any of that was even remotely necessary to tell a story about this sport, and I understand it if those elements ruined the entire show for you.]

Yes, that's right, the most popular anime in North America in 2016 now has... okay there was a fangame for it already it seems, but now there are two fangames!

Features:

• 2D art and way less controls than the other fangame, but...
• Splitscreen multiplayer that runs on anything
• Tense first-person gameplay--in order to attack you have to let your opponent out of your sight!
• A banger Chopin nocturne as background music
• Assets ripped straight from the show
• Easily editable code, and even more easily editable game parameters

Controls:

• W (player 1) / I (player 2): Move forward
• A (player 1) / J (player 2): Turn left
• D (player 1) / L (player 2): Turn right
• S (player 1) / K (player 2): Attack backwards

Like the show, you win when you knock you opponent off the Land.

Finally, well, this is kind of embarrassing, but I don't actually have anyone to playtest this with. So if you do, please tell me if the balance is off, or maybe try fiddling with the numbers yourself (they're in "game/conf.lua"**) and let me know how it goes. Thanks!
